A great place to dine on typical food from the area. Puebla de Sanabria is a must stay location on the Camino and this restaurant highly recommend. The pulpo is a taster of further things to come once we enter Galicia as is the bacalau. Scrumptious food, smooth and friendly service and great atmosphere at a reasonable price.

Boyfriend was starving, and we got a table on the terrace. When we got out the place was supper packed, so this is probably a top rated place! The octopus was nice, and also the smoked ham. And the chocolate mousse was homemade! The toilet was very clean, and the tables. And the staff was nice. It was expensive. We paid 33€ for the 2 dishes, one desert and two beers

Excellent choice in a must-visit medieval village. If you have the choice you must book the upper terrace to enjoy excellent views over the river. We took few "raciones" to share and few mains dishes. All excellent and fair price although is is a very turístic place. Service very attentive. You must taste the town specialities: octopus and beans. Both are quite traditional in the north of Spain, but they do both in a special way in town. Fantastic food with local dishes and fresh products. Great variety of meat and fish plates on the menu. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious up stairs terrace overlooking the river. This is a busy place in a touristic medieval town so it is worth reserving in advance.
